I wish I had purchased a Dyson Vac a long time ago. This was my first. I have 1 cat and 1 dog. The Animal Vac is great. It actually gets hair from places that my old Hoover would not even pick up. The ball technology takes a little getting used to but once you get used to it, it is easy to use. This vacuum is easy for me to carrier up & down stairs which I was having a problem with.
